Latin Name: Taraxacum officinalis
Plant Family: Asteraceae

Other Names: Cankerwort, Clockflower, Tell-The-Time, Blowball, Puffball, Priest’s Crown, Swine Snout, Meacamas, Piscialetto, Pissenlit, Dent de Lion, Kuhblume and Tarassaco.

Description: Those bright yellow blooms you see each summer owe their presence to the humble Dandelion Root! With its earthy, slightly bitter flavour, this dried and chopped root is a traditional companion to burdock in the timeless dandelion and burdock drink. Naturally caffeine-free, it also makes a wholesome alternative to coffee—perfect for those seeking a healthy herbal boost without the jitters.
