Description: Our chicken seasoning is an exciting melange of flavours including dried onion, salt, red & green bell peppers, garlic, black pepper, parsley, tarragon, paprika, demerara sugar, ground lemon peel and celery, all finely ground and blended to help bring chicken ‘to life’. Why stop there? These delicious flavours will really bring out the flavour of almost any cuisine!

Shelf Life

Shelf life of two years provided that goods are stored in an airtight container in ambient conditions.

Cotswold Ingredients Limited supplies a range of products that are internationally sourced from approved suppliers. Information is gathered from all suppliers to enhance knowledge of the product and supplier handling procedures.

The following products which are or contain allergens may be handled by approved suppliers on behalf of Cotswold Ingredients Limited; Cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelt, kamut and their hybrid strains), Peanuts, Soybeans, Nuts, Celery, Mustard, Milk and dairy products, Sesame seeds, Products containing sulphur dioxide and sulphites at concentrations of more than 10mg/kg or 10mg/litre expressed as sulphur dioxide.

I started using this instead of Bart chicken seasoning which I'd been using for years. I prefer the Just Ingredients chicken seasoning because it has a full flavour and doesn't taste salty. I buy in bulk and it works out more economical than Bart, and the packaging is minimal, no endless small jars to recycle. PS The meat rub is excellent too.

I have purchased this seasoning before and I have had to mill it down to coat chicken with it properly. On this occasion JI have milled the item far better saving me time. And it coats chicken better. Strangely we also find it works very well with pork!
